What is ombré?
Ombré (French for “shaded”) is a two-tone coloring style in which the roots are kept dark and the mid-lengths and ends are gradually lightened. Unlike balayage, ombré has a more defined transition line and a higher contrast. It’s most popular on longer hair where the gradient can fully develop.
